Delusional Photography

Photography has allowed me to alter the world I see in front of me into the world inside my head. I love that my vision can be as outlandish as I want but in order to create it on film, I still have to construct the physical. Nothing can be captured if it cannot first be put in front of the camera. It is this challenge that I find most exhilarating about photography. It is the search for the objects, people, and processes that fuel my passion. Rather than using Photoshop to manipulate my world, I turn to alternative developing processes, various types of films, lighting techniques, and constructed sets to mold my waking world into a reality that often could not exist outside of the photograph.
