Don Walthrop

Don Walthrop, senior member of the Professional Photographers of America, is a published and award winning photographer who has been involved with all forms of creating art starting at a very young age from painting with both acrylics and oils, sculpting in wood and clay, and music. His true artistic love lies with photographing and exploring how light and shadow form and shape God\'s great creation, the human form. From the days of tinkering in the darkroom to the modern age of digital he has enjoyed composing his creations, experimenting with new techniques, and even finding inspiration in the ancient arts. His dedication to his craft from composition, design, processing and printing is fully unveiled and revealed when viewing his work in person. Each print, both open and limited editions are processed in house using only the finest materials and painstakingly checked for consistency. In addition to mentoring other photographers one on one he also holds learning workshops for groups to attend which cover not only the basics but more advanced technique in lighting, composition and post-production.
