Gina Ikmanis

Being crafty seems to run in my family. I have always enjoyed drawing since I was a little girl. I started painting with acrylic in 1999. I had a great opportunity to work with a production art company doing faux finish and murals. There I was able to work with many talented artist who taught me so much. Today I no longer work as a production artist and prefer to express my creativity in a manner which is my own. My favorite pieces are the ones that created themselves. Although I do enjoy my portraits, I feel that my originals that came from the depths of my being are much more valuable.
