Duncan A Smith

After 20 years of working professionally as a commercial photographer, Duncan Smith set out on an adventure of a lifetime through rural Latin America to rejuvenate his passion for photography. He spent 15 months on the road, and 60,000km, riding his motorcycle through indigenous lands, rarely traveled. The primary focus of the journey was to explore the local foods, markets, and cuisines, but it’s the people that really won Duncan’s heart. After four years assisting an award winning, advertising photographer in NYC, he moved to Seattle to further his profession. His career has included ten years as senior photographer for Amazon.com, first on-staff photographer for Getty Images, and one of the first staff photographers for Microsoft.
