Eddie Jelinet\'s artistic career began at the early age of 10 when he was commissioned to paint his first mural at Netzahualcoyotl elementary school in Mexico. Months later, he was granted a scholarship to attend Casa de Cultura in Baja California where he participated in artistic local events and won several awards along with the recognition of the community. Later on he began his studies in painting and art history at Cultural Institute of Mexicali Baja California, Mexico. Eddie now lives in Long Beach, California where he continues his artistic career.

Los angeles inspires Eddie to paint and is a perfect surrounding for him to evolve. Eddie Jelinet has had successful solo exhibits at 117 Studio Gallery, J.F. Estravides Gallery, Sipology Gallery Long Beach Ca. Luna Corona Ca. Antebellum Gallery,Trunk Gallery and has participated in group exhibits such as Encore at the Braley, Nuestro LA,The Expo Gallery, Studio Tour at Brand Library, Estrellas por la Vida St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital, the Tom of Finland Erotic Art Fair, The aquarium of the pacific LB ,Moda Hollywood, Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Fundation, he is currently working on a series of surreal short films.
