Music – Los Angeles
I straight up searched for music! My name is Erin Nicole Smith and Im a singer songwriter from Santa Barbara California. I picked up the guitar in my search for what I wanted to do when I was 16. With frustration coming from lack of passion with everything I was doing at the time I knew that music touched a deeper part of me when I wrote my first song. From that moment on I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. About 6 months after picking up the guitar I released my first solo full length album under my name Erin Nicole Smith. After a few years of playing sololy I wanted to get involved with collaborating. Thats when I met Todd Dakin. In 2013 he was playing a gig in town, something drew mw to him so I decided to write a note on the back of a receipt and drop it in his tip jar along with a $1 bill. Little did we know 3 weeks later we would release our first E.P. together titled \"Save it for the Remix\" After a few E.Ps and countless singles Todd and I are still working together on a daily basis. Currently we both are in a band called The Weekend Monsters. with influences from punk/rock/pop/soul every member brings artistry to the group and we are playing music we all really enjoy.
