Formed in May 2015, -esque dance collective is a new artistic collective basing its ideas off the principle of collaboration. Located in New York, the collective recognized a unique opportunity to unite artists through collaborative and creative thinking rather than a “one choreographer and dancers” hierarchy. Coming from different dance backgrounds, each artist exudes a unique quality and allows clear perspective to help create dynamic and enjoyable work. The collective seeks to collaborate with several independent artist and merge other artistic disciplines such as visual and musical mediums. With a continuous flow of creative energy happening throughout the collective we hope that our work speaks volume, excitement, and freshness.
