www.evendesignonline.com We, (Eric Cooke & Erin Fahey), are a couple that collaborates to do mixed-media art on guitars and pendants.Evendesign was born about 3 years ago when we had a wild hair and decided to decoupage Eric\'s guitar. Until that point neither of us had ever considered ourselves \"artists,\" but that first guitar came with some kind of creative kismet. We suddenly found ourselves knee deep in artistic inspiration and happier sanding and painting and creating images in our second bedroom than we had ever been doing anything before. That passion has persisted and we are now working tirelessly to make functional, mixed-media art, and to make our art our business. Our process is highly dynamic and we are constantly trying out new materials and techniques. This is evident in the distinctly different personality of each piece. We are also eager to experiment with new canvases, but fully intend to continue to make functional art. All our guitars are playable and our pendants can withstand the rigors of daily accessorizing. This is important to us because we love art and we think that art becomes more accessible when there is the potential for interaction. We also do commissioned work. We love the challenge of making a customers vision come to life, and we anticipate doing more custom work in the future.
