Deer Abigale is a Nashville based artist who specializes in unconventional female focused portraits. She concentrates on striation detail and distortion in the figures she paints. She creates using mostly acrylic pigment, pencil and Ink. she rarely uses new canvas in her most recent work. She prefers to work with found materials in her art. She likes to think of it as giving the abandoned new life. The subject matter that is portrayed is just as important as the surface that presented upon.
