Music – Atlanta
Formed in the summer of 2011, Doug Funny and the Freshtones are an Atlanta/Athens based band. In the past two years, the Freshtones have played a variety of shows at many venues across Georgia, including The Georgia Theatre and The Masquerade. With DJ Rees playing lead guitar and vocals, Brian Thomas slappin\' bass, Adi Komic playing rhythm guitar, Kyle Rees on drums, and Greg Jankoski playing keyboards, the group creates a progressive jam rock sound. With blues, reggae, classical, and alternative influences, Doug Funny and the Freshtones strive to create a unique, genre-less sound.
