Visual Art – Milwaukee
I am an illustrator and textile designer, linking my work together through expressive uses of color and line-work along with unique concepts and references to nature. I enjoy taking prompts and creating surprising yet beautiful solutions with an emphasis on metaphors to nature in order to connect more universally with people. The goal in my work, whether with ink and watercolor, printing, or thread, is to create work that immediately attracts the audience with color, a light subject matter, or humor, but then upon further inspection may have much deeper connotations and symbolism.
I received my B.F.A in Communication Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017 with a major in Illustration and minor in Fibers.
