Gina Rivas-Velazquez

I am a freelance artist 20yrs + in NY/NJ Tri-State Area. I have translated my background from the Fashion Industry into licensing art, fine art, digital art, face & body art, graphic design and fine wearable art. My art has been produced on fabric, home accessories, jewelry, party accessories, ceramics, glass, bank checks, note cards, and fine art prints. I strive to showcase my art in professional situations involving creatively diverse elements resulting in sophisticated events. My freelance career has enabled me to work on a wide range of art...from product development, graphic design, brand recognition, production ready art and face and body art for parties and events within the private and corporate sector. I encourage and welcome the development and creation of collaborations with various artists such as photographers, fine artists, makeup artists, fashion designers and educators in galleries, fashion shows, art schools, restaurants and more all of which I have been apart of. I take pride in the developement of a mentoring program with budding artists interested in further developing their individual style while taking their art to the next level at an art school in my area, in addition to being an active participant in creating various contests and events that encourage the interaction within our local schools into the community. My art continues to grow and develop with my completion of workshops, classes and conventions in varous genres in and out of my area.
