After College, where I majored in Building Science and Fine Art at Auburn University, I spent several years on the art/craft show circut in the Washington Dc area, selling handmade jewelry on the weekends and on my off days under the name \"GingArt\" before having a child and quiting my \"day job.\"
Like most Artists, my style, craft and motivation have evolved over the years. I have only recently taken my love of and expeiernce as a painter and mixed media artist and translated it into a more marketable product in order to raise funds for my and my husband\'s pursuit of adopting a special needs child, by way of my new etsy shop, The Silver Button.
Through that evolution, I have found a new love, creating beautiful wearable art that incorporates mixed metals, non-traditional jewelry elements and repurposed vintage finds and fabrics.
