By day computer geek. By night (and weekends and any free time) creator, designer and jewelry innovator. I have always had this need to create art - if I step away from it life just seems out of balance. In college I started to go into Scientific Illustration as I was drawn to meticulous line work and working with pen and ink. However I decided I also wanted a paycheck so went into computers and analysis as my career. I started designing jewelry about two years ago and started up Gold Tentacle. With an Illustrator background and analytical based career, my designs now reflect these two areas of my life. I love using geometric shapes to create sleek, modern, and approachable designs. You will find my pieces include various mixed mediums and resources. I am always looking to create a comfortable and wearable modern piece of art from metal, wood, and paint. I like to keep people guessing what I am going to design next and with what materials.
