She started her career in the advertising world working for some of the biggest advertising agencies and after many years working she decided to leave it all and let her creativity run free without a creative brief. Around 2003 she left advertising and started to explore various artistic expressions and techniques like printmaking, sculpture, mix media, encaustic, oil and acrylic among others.
For many years Gomaga was looking for a unique style that would make her complete and happy to express herself as the artist she is. It was until 2011 she finally found it,using forms,lines and bold colors that represent perfectly well her vision.
