Guyy is a new face to hit the music scene in 2013. Born in tropical Queensland and raised in Canberra, Guyy began playing guitar from a young age - learning his first chords from his Father. Guyy continued learning for 8 years before resigning from his full time job as a 3D animation artist and diving head first into a life of music.
Since kick starting his career Guyy has been hard at work developing his own sound and style. Guyy blends a love of Pink Floyd ingenuity with a later found taste for Australian roots & folk. Guyy incorporates an arsenal of effects pedals with his acoustic guitars, being able to switch from soothing acoustic melodies to overdriven tones - merging different elements and styles to create a unique and refreshing sound. Guyy has a passion for connecting with people, pushing the envelope and sharing that journey with everyone.

In his short career Guyy has been nominated for 2 ARIA awards - Best Independent Release and best Blues and Roots Album and is making his way around Australia\'s folk festivals circuit.
