Being a first generation American, my mother always wanted Pakistani culture to be very prominent in my life. One of the ways she did this was by applying henna on me for any celebration. I've always related to my culture through a positive light because of this (despite all the damage done by mainstream media). Now, I want to show everyone my culture and how beautiful it is.
