Holly Spencer

Holly Spencer is a Utah born photographer who recently moved to Connecticut. Her projects range from the motion of dance to the stability of architecture around her. Her decision to become a photographer stemmed from an adolescent trip to New England that was planned to create opportunities for image making. Her love for photography was solidified in that trip and she continued on to take every photography course available to her throughout her education. She was introduced to the formal qualities of photography as she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Utah Valley University and has worked to push those formalities. She creates images that have depth far beyond their two dimensions. Rather than overlaying images in post production, Holly’s images focus on utilizing a single exposure for each image.
