I am a daydreamer… a maker of objects… a dancer… a healer… In this wondrous world, I am fascinated by our natural and physical environment, and by the metaphysical realm. I fabricate pieces using sterling and gold, valued precious metals, and I mount the natural and organic objects, presenting them as precious too. I include bone, cocoons, and wool felt (which is needle felted onto the metal form). The soft wool embraces and holds the metal, rather than the metal holding the felt. I want to honor the natural, organic and precious world as the “gem” and focal point of my pieces. The objects are statements – hard and soft, metallic and organic, dark and light. They are small wearable sculptures traveling through time and space on the landscape of the human body. PHOTO CREDIT Dan Clark http://weinberg-clark.com/
