I am a 25 year old local Boulder artist, originally from Melbourne Beach, Florida but have lived here in the Boulder area for the past 7 years. I love all types of hands on art! I am very classically trained and my main art form is colored pencil, hyper/photo realistic portraits (people and animals). I originally started as a black and grey artist but I discovered color and now I just absolutely love color. Recently I have been combining my realism with psychedelic imagery by making photo realistic objects/portraits out of other images/objects so every piece of art has a sort of changeability depending on how you look at it (the art may look like one thing or another but its actually both or any image you wish to see). I\'m trying to inspire the viewer to acknowledge that everything can be within anything, you just have to open your eyes and your mind to the idea (ex:my cover photo was for a cookbook. It is two people embracing but they are made up of cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, vanilla beans, pears, star anise, cloves, ginger root, black berry, and allspice; this piece is done with colored pencil). I also professionally tattoo, screen print (t-shirts, posters and such), and have even built an acoustic guitar and two banjos from scratch. I love art and will continue to do it every day until the day I die. I am fully addicted and gratefully deadicated!
