Photography – Philadelphia
Hi My name is Tanya and I discovered my passion for photography many years ago while I was on vacation with my family. Which was a surprised for me, because I didn't have the slightest clue that photography would be something that would change my life. I started studying my craft a few years ago when the opportunity to return to school arose, and it's been the best decison I have ever made.
Currently, I am working on a series of images that reflect the social injustices that are unfortunately plaguing our world. It is through this work that I hope to bring more awareness to the plight of the systematically disenfranchised and the culturally forgotten. The images that I am creating are social conversation pieces that will hopefully bring change to communities that desperately need help. I hope to be able to use my work as an inspiration to people everywhere, and awareness to social issues that we are forced to face in a more realistic way.
