Performing Art – Las Vegas
Jorge Lara is the Editor In Chief of VIMMAG: Vegas Poetry + Culture (www.vimmag.com), an online magazine that features interviews with local Vegas artists and cultural visionaries.
He is the Executive Director of The Las Vegas Poets Organization (www.lasvegaspoets.org).
Previously he has featured at Word Up, as well as read at Human Experience at Emergency Arts and The Beat, he has sang his words with Vegas jam-band Interzone at Painters and Poets Jam at the world-famous Arts Factory, previously hosted poetry at Blackbird Studios as part of Drink and Draw/Poetry and first began reading in Vegas at the Enigma Garden Cafe and Espresso Roma. In previous years he has been part of Danna Nordin\'s Annual Men\'s Poetry Night, which has been a mainstay in Vegas for over 10 years.
