Inorganic Romantic

I'm a mixed-media artist who specializes in illustration. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, science, horror, and mythology, I aim to interpret subjects through an unnatural lens. I crave the organic grit of traditional media, and strive to marry it with the mechanical promise of transhumanist subjects, often culled from personal nightmares. My current aspiration is to pursue medical realism in my work, incorporating it into illustration and visual novels, as well as a career in scientific illustration. I draw as much inspiration from the natural world as I do from technological possibility. The grimy cyberpunk aesthetic strongly appeals to me, over the more hermetically plasticine representations of subjects in science fiction.
