Beth Johnson

My name is Beth Johnson and I started \"In the Details Body Art\" several months ago after working with many models and specifically two local photographers in the area. I have been body painting for a little over a year and am self taught. I I have always been in love with art. When I was a child people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and my answer was always \"be an artist\". I never found this form of art until I painted faces at my nieces birthday party. With encourangement from a friend, who happens to be a wonderful hair stylist and makup artist, I tried body painting! I instantly fell in love with it. I love meeting new people and transforming them into something beautiful or totally different and unique. Body painting is about concealing any nudity and not flaunting it. I love when people ask, \"Is that really all paint?\" It makes me feel like I\'ve accomplished what I set out to do. The body is a beautiful canvas, and I strive with every painting to make it better than the last. I\'ve branched out some and worked with several other local photographers and models. I really love meeting new people and seeing new styles. I absolutely love what I do, and look forward to continually learning and networking with other artists. I can\'t wait to transform more
