Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

Born at Howard University Hospital and currently residing in Kalorama, Washington, D.C., Jasmine Ford discovered her passion for design and art at a later age than most. Jasmine began her adventures in art with occasional art classes in high school, but, in truth, her affinity for expression only truly blossomed during college. While studying art and political science at Dickinson College, Jasmine had the opportunity to employ a diverse array of mediums, producing works with skills ranging from lithography and silk-screen printing to charcoal and ink drawing. After graduation, however, and as time became more scarce with the mounting demands of pursuing a career, Jasmine discovered that she was employing one medium more than any other: ink on paper. Ever since, Jasmine has embraced a style all her own, often typified by complex and detailed non-geometric designs and great attention to motion and shading.
