Jewel Unique

Jewel Unique Milliken is an award- winning, certified Make-Up Artist and Small Business Owner currently based out of Raleigh, NC. Born in New Bern, NC, Jewel fell in love with makeup at the age of 12 and would later make it her passion. Jewel graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and she was also inducted into the Psi Chi National Honor Society. Jewel has studied the art of beauty from the Inside and out. After being self-taught in makeup for 15 years, Jewel pursued her passion in 2010 at Sephora and made what was once a dream into her reality. She attended Sephora University in both New York and San Francisco. She is a certified Beauty Expert and a Sephora University Beauty Class Facilitator. Jewel instructs numerous classes including Beauty Basics 101 and Skin Care Basics. Jewel continues to excel in the field of beauty and skin care, she has recently obtained her licensure as an Esthetician. Awarded Who's Who 2015 of Raleigh / Durham as well as 2015 Extradionary Woman with Perfectly Imperfect, Inc NC. She dedicates her time with her private clientele as a freelance makeup artist for Canvas The Makeup Studio, a business she began 3 years ago. In addition through Jewel’s Boutique, an online based boutique for jewelry and accessories, Jewel continues to offer ways to enhance the outer beauty of the “ordinary on the way to extraordinary” woman. Jewel’s next goal is to open a Day Spa. If history is the indicator and passion is the motivator, that goal is well within reach.
