John OMara

I\'m photographer John O\'mara, a fifth generation San Diego native with a lifetime love of photography. I grew up in the mountains east of San Diego which ignited my love for natural landscapes and the quiet beauty that only a few stop to admire. I feel compelled to capture those images so others can experience the majestic beauty I have witnessed. Four years ago, I set out to turn my passion for photography into a career. I have shifted my focus from only landscapes to blending my love for nature with my new found love of portraits. I look for beauty, motion and mood in my images. I want my viewer to be drawn in, to wonder, to imagine what happens next for the protagonist in the picture.
