Visual Art – Minneapolis
I have been a creator my whole life. My work has developed from hand carved wood figurines on the farm when I was little to a professional career as a painter, designer, and singer.
My current work focuses on decorative and conceptual hand illustrated typographic work & hand drawn illustrations. I love the subtlety of letter forms. Their shape has intention and affects the emotion of the words they form. Something we see every day but often don\'t notice once we have learned to read.
I am also a painter and musician. My paintings focus on large scale & conceptual driven figural, cityscape, and abstract works. As a singer I am classically trained and have sung everything from opera to rock and roll. I currently sing and perform a mixture of folk, alternative, pop, blues. I like to have fun ;)
