Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn
Jordan Bortner is a musician and visual artist, living in Brooklyn. He was born in Dallas, TX, and continued living in Texas until he was 24 years of age. After high school, he attended the University of North Texas, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bacehlor of Arts in music degree. Outside of school, he developed an interest in slow-shutter photography, slowly moving toward digital image corruption. After moving to New York, he began working with video, and also started performing live-manipulated visuals alongside musicians at shows.
