Joseph D'silva

Hi there, my name is Joseph D'silva and I am a Watercolor Artist from Vancouver, Canada. I have been drawing and painting for all of my life now. My love for Watercolor Painting actually started when I was in university where I spent my weekends painting outdoors mostly landscapes and architecture. This gave me plenty of time to explore the watercolor medium and also helped to build my observation of the subjects I was painting. This led to the fascination of travel for me as I needed to go onsite to paint and to explore different places.. Travel and Watercolor painting has some what always interested me. Through my watercolor paintings I can be at that place, imagine the atmosphere, the sounds, the air, the light and shade and it is through these experiences I give everyone a chance to feel what I am feeling. Maybe I am bringing back memories of a time and place where you might have been.
