\"What ever you resist in Life Persists in Your Life!\" How true and profound this statement is... I have been around Art all my life and I rebelled against it. My father was my only art instructor at a young age we painted and created together... but life happened and paths changed. I wanted to be different, being everyone in My family was in some degree an artist. Through the years I played, doodled and created things as gifts never seeing what I see today... My Father\'s passed in 2009 able to be by his side in the end and having him pass peacefully in my arms was a life awaking. I went looking for a memory missing my Dad, a little whisper lead me to the cabinet to seek a memory. I pulled out the pastels and some art pads and started to play. My niece suggested I do a portrait of her dog. Being the last pastel I did was on sand paper. I thought to do a textured canvas and not wanting to go near the pastels again, I pulled out the paints... The gift unfolded before me, you can view more of my work and Journey on my Website.
