Kamalah Tribal

Kamalah Tribal is Phoenix\'s only belly dance troupe dedicated to American Tribal Style® belly dance. Kamalah Tribal was created in October of 2008 by Heather and Lenay. Lenay was directly trained by and danced with Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance® and Megha Gavin of Devyani Dance Company as a student for several years before coming to Arizona. Troupe directors Lenay and Jorden are both FatChanceBellyDance® Sister Studios and certified ATS® instructors. Kamalah Tribal dances at various cultural events, festivals, shows, and private events throughout Arizona and the southwest. Kamalah means \"born of the lotus.\"
