When I was growing up, my family took annual camping trips to the Western parts of the United States. We spent a lot of time at national parks hiking, exploring, and collecting different found objects and pieces of art from our travels. I have always loved different forms of art and creating, and have also always been extremely interested in nature and the way we can use it to enhance our art and become more connected with the earth. In my travels I began picking up dreamcatchers from the many places we went and I became fascinated with the deep meaning and tradition behind them. In college I began making them for friends and family and it turned into a ritual that became extremely soothing for me, and I realized the passion I had for creating them not only in decorative ways, but also in wearable forms. So I started Good Vibes Dreamcatchers! When I'm not working you can find me hoop dancing, trail running, hiking, climbing, singing, and listening to jazz music. I love to travel and hope to continue bringing my dreamcatchers with me when I do so!
