Visual Art – Boston
When I was a junior in high school, I realized that I loved art so much that I wanted to pursue it as a career. Right now I am a student in Boston, Massachusetts studying graphic design and running Black Design Market from my dorm room. Although I am a student, I value art in all aspects. I did not want to make the classroom the only outlet that I used my creative skills, so this summer I turned to Etsy and later begun selling my art as a vendor. These platforms give me the capability to make work that I create freely and am not assigned. Creating is so important to me, and having Black Design Market is a way that I can challenge myself and my skills outside of the classroom and sell my work as well! I am still growing as an artist and I am so glad to have opportunities like RAW that motivate me forward and keep me going strong.
