My name is Kristin. I\'m 28, living in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up in Central NY in a family of five, all of which are artists in their own right. When I was growing up, my parents always dragged me to Antique shows. This is where my love for old and vintage pieces started. I went to Syracuse University and majored in Fashion Design, minored in Textiles. By my Senior year my Fashion Collection was one out of a handful chosen for a NYC Fashion Show, in front of major Fashion gurus\' at the time. After College I interned at Cynthia Steffe for 9 months, in the end I decided to step away and do my own thing. I started knitting about 7-8 years ago, beginning my sophomore year in College. I took to it very quickly and haven\'t been able to stop ever since. I am a Skincare Expert working full time at Sephora for about 4 years now. In 2013, my boss loved the fact that I knit so she put together a mini fashion show for myself to showcase my work. This woman is the driving force behind my knitting, she motivated me to put myself and my work out into the world. She\'s classy, poised and modern in such a take-it-back type of way. Very much like the way I knit. I have such passion for knitting. Knitting is the one thing that will take the stress from everything.
