Photography – Chicago

When I was much much younger, I would surround myself with National Geographic magazines. Hours would be spent staring at every photo, admiring the depth of color and life that seemed to emanate from the pages. I wanted to be the person on the other side of the lens, experience that sense of adventure and be able to bring back to the civilian world. As many childhood dreams that get left in the dust, I never really thought about photography again until about 20 years later. I had received a point and shoot camera as a gift and started taking pictures. I was a hobbyist in every sense of the word, the camera would go untouched for months, years, even as I dreamed about being a photographer. But then in a twist of fate, I stumbled on to my path of burlesque photography. From there it\'s been a whirlwind roller coaster ride that I hope to never get off of.
