Kristine Ballard

I am a visual artist, art educator and graphic designer. kristineballard Born in Sydney, Australia and growing up under the bright rays of a suburban backyard created the foundation for a life long obsession with radiant colour. As a painter I specialise in bold expressive hues. My focus is on still life and landscapes. I love transforming everyday subjects into vibrations of colour. This I do in a style I call ‘fragamatism’. My aim is to take the ‘still’ out of still life. As an art educator I focus on delivering lessons that engage, motivate and inspire creativity. My experience as an artist and graphic designer and teacher allows me to fast track artistic growth in others. My aim is to nurture a love and understanding for fine art and the art making process in every student. Sustaining a creative life by understanding the great masters and seeking current practices, helps me improving my craft. Bringing the joy of this to others through my artworks and teaching others how to get there, is what I am all about.
