Jo Lee

I am an illustrator and designer based in Vancouver, BC. I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, but briefly lived in Turkey and spent my formative years in Ontario. In 2008, I graduated from NSCAD (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design) University with a Bachelor of Design. In my senior year I travelled to Paris to complete two design internships. Never quite getting rid of the travel bug, I spent 6 months backpacking and teaching English in South East Asia. Since returning to Canada I have worked in fashion, finance and editorial design. Currently, I have started my own company, La Jolee. La Jolee is an international illustration studio based in Vancouver, B.C. As a full service illustration studio, we create hand-rendered images that are inspired by our passion for unique ideas. We deliver innovative concepts creating a dynamic experience that customers can connect with. In 2013, the studio will launch original work on greeting cards and more.
