Daryl Ferrara / Glimpse

Film – New York - Brooklyn

My dream of many years really began to take shape in 2012. We finished ALL production on “Glimpse” in October 2012. MY HISTORY: In 2000, I did the whole Los Angeles thing. The auditions, the agent, pictures with porn stars and, SAG went on strike. The strike was just in time for me to be 2,765 miles away from my normal. Within months, I decided to pack my things up and head home to NJ. I went back to school for Public Relations and minored in film. This is where the passion and drive kicked in. I found that working behind the camera was more my personality style. My first student film, Drifted (shot on 16mm) screened in the Montclair State University Film Festival and won the audience award and received great praise from my teachers and peers. School project after school project, I was getting hooked. Fast forward, 13 years later and adult life has kicked in. My directorial dreams had been left on the back burner, flame lit, for all those years I mentioned in the start. Not anymore though. I decided 2012 was going to be the year. Life is too short to sit idly for too long. I feel the need to continue to follow my dreams and my aspirations; in becoming a director/producer, because nobody else will do it for me. I am 35 and before another year passed by, I was determined to create and direct \"Glimpse\". Now a year later...still rocking it!
