Rebecca Cunningham

Rebecca Cunningham (I), mastermind of Lard Art (does not do artwork with Lard rather, creates art to satisfy the taste buds of the eyes) perform live to the rhythm and beats of the music and people. I create mystical images of foreign and known lands and creatures right before your eyes in impressive time frames. Setting up with the band I paint in reaction to my environment on the Instrument cases of the performers. This is an incredible fusion of Art inspired Music not to be missed. Since I can remember I have been drawing. Exploring our visual world, distorting and rotating it to work with the shape of my imagination. There are many different sides to my art practice, it’s not at all two dimensional. I like to explore Surreal realities and juxtapositions of objects to make people wander and question their own views on life and reality. Combining music and painting has been the most successful way of engaging with the public and opening up doors of creativity, conversation and inspiration for all involved.
