Leslie Hinton

I was born in Johnson City Tennessee to two wonderful and extremely encouraging parents. I was allowed to decorate my room, furniture, clothes, car etc creatively. You could hear my mom on a daily basis say \"She\'s up to Leslie-fying again\". Creating a sort of colorful environment with interesting and comforting objects has helped me find my voice in this sometimes scary world. I have not always known how to relate and identify with people---but when I make art I have something to share with those around me and this has always served as a spring board for dialogue and connection with humanity.
