Fashion – Providence

I am a multi-hyphen creative director & stylist with over 12 years of experience in the fashion (and fashion tech) industry. As a creative, I am inspired by the desire to leverage design & branding dialogue to launch cultural shifts for a more ethical, sustainable future. I believe that, while design should speak for itself, the intention behind creative vision is what gives it longevity. Early in my career, I was disheartened by the behind-the-scenes reality of the fashion industry. Rather than walk away, I dedicated my career to changing that narrative. I’ve been a featured speaker on themes such as the cultural impact of design, sustainability & transparency in business, and the cultural dialogues of women through fashion. My work has been featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Forbes, Elle, Entrepreneur, amongst many others. This focus on impact has opened doors I never imaged when I started my career, moving between design and technology, with the common goal of creating solutions for ethical consumer markets. These successes are driven by an intuitive pulse on the luxury industry, identifying cultural and industry landscapes to drive critically-timed impact initiatives and brand campaigns. Moving between mediums in fashion and luxury has provided me a certain elasticity as a creative director and unique insight into the many moving parts of the luxury industry, all of which inform my ongoing vision and creative direction strategy. At current, I have a bespoke line, de re. de re is designed through the female lens, challenging the historical and male-dominated interpretations of who and what a woman is, and how she should be represented throughout the many roles she takes throughout the day. de re, which means “of the nuances”, is an aesthetic conversation within the juxtapositions and nuances of modern femininity: to be soft and poetic, but with an unwavering strength; an inspired statement with a quiet ease; an intentional wild. this dialogue is a deeply personal one to me, inspired by my own experience as a woman, an entrepreneur, and a mother. I also do freelance work as a creative director, ranging from campaign and personal styling, through branding concepts.
