Accessories – Philadelphia

I grew up in the trade on Jeweler\'s Row, my mother is also a jeweler. I did my first apprenticeship at 16 on Sansom St. I left Philly and the idea of being a jewelry designer behind after high school in pursuit of other things. I spent a year SCUBA diving in the Caymans, a year in Ireland, and a few years in South Africa. While in South Africa I kept bees and sold the honey, I hand painted \"Hunny\" on the jars, Pooh Bear\'s spelling :) I also started a private tailoring business and thought I wanted to be a fashion designer for a while. When I returned home to Philly a friend introduced me to the letterpress printer and I fell in love. I started working in a handmade invitations studio and worked the letterpress on the side. I have always been a hands on creative type of person, trying to find my niche. It wasn\'t until 2 years ago that I knew for sure what I wanted to do. I It\'s like that T.S. Elliot quote,\"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
