Lost Caravan is the new guard of gypsy music. We took the classic instrumental setup of guitar and violin that Django Reinhardt pioneered decades ago in France and dragged it kicking and screaming into the 21st century. By adding an upright bass, booming drums and sultry, catchy vocals, we seized this classic sound and made it our own, something we call Gypsy Rock. A mix of pop/rock & gypsy jazz, we liken our sound to Rodrigo y Gabriela meets Gwen Stefani.
After forming in late 2011, we first hit the audio to record our EP and solidify our approach. Since then we\'ve been playing shows and events in Denver, Boulder, and the surrounding areas non-stop; doing our utmost to spread this electric, raucous sound.
