I'm LeAnna Noll of LuluArtis. I've been taking painting seriously since the beginning of 2017 when I agreed to create a memorial pet portrait for a friend. The response to the painting was incredible and mostly positive (all but one loved it....it was that one jerk who doesn't like dogs. I mean WHO doesn't like dogs??). And since I really loved the process, I figured it would probably be a good idea to keep it up and see what else I could do. Turns out I have an eye for realism, and a preference for acrylics. I paint what I see, right down to the tiniest fiber, freckle, or...something else really small. And If something doesn't look like it's supposed to, I'll usually stress about it for a while, then I'll grab a sandwich or something, and then I'll grab a brush and work (and rework) details until I'm sick of it and ready for a nap. I've lived in Minnesota my entire life and for the longest time I've tried not to have a Minnesotan accent. I'm pretty sure I've only made my accent worse.
