Visual Art – San Antonio
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a concentration in printmaking. I am also studying for a minor in Sociology.
My artwork explores the relationship between a figurative subject and their psychological state. This is often represented by repeating a figure or fragments of the individual, and creating a dialogue between them. The relationships depicted create themes such as defiance, sexuality, and the breaking down of one’s emotional or mental state. My art takes one’s personal, inner conflicts and gives them a physical presence. I explore these ideas through painting, printmaking, and drawing.
