Maggie Belle

My name is Maggie Belle Gehegan. I was born and raised in San Diego,CA. I moved to New Orleans to pursue my nursing career and surround myself with the unique culture and music of this city. I started \"singing\" only about 5 years ago as a joke with some friends in a basement band. What was then a lighthearted form of expression, soon became central to who I am and a release of my heart and soul. After moving to New Orleans,I began singing with a friend here who plays the piano, Brian Hunter and more recently a drummer and good friend, Cedar Howard. We can best be described as Rhythm and Blues, though we are inspired by many different genres of music; Blues, Soul, Folk, Hip-Hop
