Mariell Guzman

I was born and raised in Mexico for most of my life. My Mexican heritage has deeply affected my relationship and interaction with art. As I grew up in a culture embellished in intricate designs and inspiration; an artist grew inside me, and the creative power within me became more tangible. My personal experience with the richness and diversity of art expression in Mexico intricately sculptured my mind in a unique way. My inspiration from my heritage’s folk art has blossomed over the years and transformed into my own style. I\'m currently attending The University of Texas at Austin and getting my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art.
