Fashion – Hobart

Life doesn’t always turn out as you planned. When my dreams of becoming a professional dancer were taken away by injury, I fought back. Determined to still be a part of the creative world, I turned to costume. As time has gone on, I have continued to delve into the world of fashion and my passion has only grown. In 2014 I won the ‘Student of the Year’ at The Whitehouse Institute of Design and most recently, the ‘Couture’ Award at the 2016 Arts Of Fashion’s Paris Summer Masterclass. I have had previous experience in costume and wearable art outside of university and spent my time at The Whitehouse Institute of Design developing my commercial style. These designs are clean and succinct, juxtaposing new fabrications with traditional craftsmanship. With high quality construction, fresh accents of white and moral ideals in place, creating my own style and taking it to the streets.
