Visual Art – Boise
I am a visual artist residing in Boise, Idaho. Art has been a passion and major part of my life for as long as I could remember, and in the past year, I have begun to turn this passion into a career. My favorite medium is colored pencil, though I love to work with graphite, watercolor, and digital art as well. I love observing color in our world, the way shapes bend and distort and combine to create everything around us. I also love that, through art, we can create anything, whether it be a mirror of reality or something out of a fantasy. And, interestingly enough, I am on my way to completing a BS in Mathematics from Boise State University. It may seem like an odd choice for an artist, but surprisingly, there is beauty and creativity behind the analytical mask of mathematics. When I am not creating art, I enjoy crafts such as knitting and polymer clay sculpting, playing a great video game, or curling up with coffee and a good book.
